FACnet provides, installs and maintains hardware that enabled NIH facility to control access to NIH buildings. Links access priviliges to the HHS ID bagde - or Personal Identifity Verification (PIV) card - the common governement identification for all HHS Agencies. Helps customers reduced the personnel who can enters a building or a section of a building by way of badges.
Additional benefits include reduced energy costs, reduced personnel costs, and security for NIH personnel.
