CIT Pilot Programs

NIH Secure Email and File Transfer Service (https://secureemail.nih.gov )
Allows NIH users and customers to send large documents securely and confidentially over an SSL/encrypted connection.  They can confirm delivery, determine if it’s been read and the time. It allows for files up to 2gb to be transferred (this is currently a limitation imposed by the web browsers). NIH users authenticate with an NIH AD account and can use it to send out of NIH. External users can send in to NIH by authenticating with their SMTP address and a password of their choosing.

Office Communications Service (OCS)

OCS is an IM and collaboration tool. It has a Win32 executable and we  now also have a Mac installer for a really slick looking/working Mac version of the client.

JabberXCP
(an XMPP-standard)
This is an IM tool. It has a windows32 client, webpage but also allows any XMPP client to chat through it. This includes a very long list of open-source clients as well as iChat on the Mac.
