The National Children’s Study Federal Advisory Committee (NCSAC), constituted under the Federal Advisory Committee Act, provides advice and recommendations to the Director of the National Children’s Study, the Director of the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, and the Director of the National Institutes of Health regarding critical aspects of the Study. The Committee will receive an update on the current status of the Vanguard Study and will discuss general data collection methods and retention strategy and methods. In our fourth and final DDM Seminar of the 2012-2013 series, Dr. Carol Kinsey Goman will address the topic of collaborative leadership. Dr. Goman has done extensive research into the body language of leaders and how it affects the group's ability to collaborate, share ideas, and be productive. Carol Kinsey Goman, Ph.D., is an international keynote speaker, specializing in leadership and nonverbal communication. She coaches executives, female leaders, salespeople, and change-agents to build strong and productive business relationships by projecting confidence, credibility, caring, and charisma. She’s the author of twelve business books, including "The Silent Language of Leaders: How Body Language Can Help – or Hurt – How You Lead."
