Organization

The CIT workforce consists of federal staff with contractor support that includes a diverse group of IT specialists, engineers, and technicians. CIT is organized into four offices with different areas of expertise that work together to support both CIT and NIH. Click on any of the cards below to learn more.

The OD manages and evaluates CIT’s programs, policies, and procedures and provides analysis and guidance for developing IT services, systems, and security.

The OITSM is comprised of 11 Service Areas that provide NIH staff and NIH-funded researchers with IT infrastructure, tools, services, support, and trainings.

The OSCS directs service areas that provide NIH and NIH-funded researchers with a variety of scientific computing services such as cloud computing, high-performance computing, and scientific applications.
