Deputy Director

Ivor D’Souza serves as the Deputy Director of CIT. He sits in CIT's Office of the Director, and his responsibilities cover a wide array of functions, including employee engagement, inter and intra-organizational communications, business strategic planning, IT acquisitions, Information Systems Distribution program/enterprise software licensing, and cybersecurity.

Previous Experience

Previously, Ivor served as the Chief Information Officer for the NIH National Library of Medicine (NLM) and provided executive leadership for all IT services at NLM over the course of nearly two decades. At NLM, Ivor led all information technology services and managed complex IT operations involving federal systems and infrastructure. He developed application platforms for many of NLM’s information resources, including MedlinePlus, the Value Set Authority Center, Docline and Medical Subject Headings (MeSH). 

Before joining NIH, Ivor was a partner and vice president at AAC Inc., an IT consulting firm in Virginia.

  • Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology
